Meet Jeffrey A. Weaver, A Lawyer Who Serves The Community In The Courtroom And Out

To attorney Jeffrey Weaver, the practice of law is about helping hurt and injured people obtain the justice they need through the legal system. While this can be daunting, Jeff has dedicated his 29-year career to making the process easier to navigate by establishing a partnership with his clients. His compassionate demeanor has helped many people get past the difficulties that result from serious auto accidents, sports injuries, premises liability, slip and falls, and other circumstances where someone else’s negligence causes harm.

The Law Offices of Jeffrey A. Weaver primarily serves the Palm Springs area.

Trained In The Law

Born in Syracuse, New York, Jeff pursued studies in law and society at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he was recognized as the Most Outstanding Student within his major in 1982. Assisted by an academic scholarship from the Santa Barbara Police Scholastic fund, he graduated in 1984 and then went on to receive his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1987.

After his admission to the California Bar, he pursued studies at the International Association of Defense Council Trial Academy. For a time, he served as a visiting deputy district attorney in Ventura County and litigated many jury trials in Riverside, San Diego, San Bernardino and Ventura counties. His focus was on personal injury law, especially in the arena of insurance claims. He is also admitted to the United States Federal Court District, Central District of California and, as an arbiter for the Riverside County Superior Court, he has hosted seminars on tort litigation.

Jeff is a proud member of Consumer Attorneys of California and applicant to the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates.

Committed To Service

Outside the courtroom, Jeff lives his life according to a principle voiced by Winston Churchill: “We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give.” That is also the mantra of a favorite charity, the Debbie Chisholm Memorial Foundation, where he serves as the board director.

The Debbie Chisholm Memorial Foundation is a nonprofit foundation that grants wishes to terminally ill children throughout the Inland Empire that includes Western Riverside and Southwestern San Bernardino counties. The foundation transports sick children and their families from the reality of a dismal health condition via stretch limousine to the destination of their choice, where they can make memories that will last a lifetime. Beyond the excursion, the foundation continues to provide support to the family.

Jeff has also been an active participant in Big Brothers and the Palm Springs Mentoring Program.
